|
|
It's been almost two years to the day since we last heard any updates on Dungeon Siege 3 and now we finally heard something positive about this.
Obsidian Entertainment is working on Dungeon Siege 3, and will be marketed by Square Enix. The third edition of the RPG will appear for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
. The development is outsourced to Obsidian Entertainment, which has just finished RPG Alpha Protocol, as publisher Square Enix has announced. When Dungeon Siege 3 on the market, it is not known. What is clear is that in addition to a PC version also versions for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be released. The game is also in co-op play.
The player at the start of the game, choose from different character classes and selected upgrade. Remarkably, the game character, as in the first two parts of a group company gets followers. When Chris Taylor in early 2008 announced that third in the series would come, he wanted the gameplay just simplify and abolish followers.
The third part of the series is again in the country Ehb. The player is a member of the 10th Legion, a group whose role is to protect Ehb. Instructing the player to the power of this legion to restore power in Ehb to conquer.

I just hope they don't make a total mess of it, if there's no PvP/editing then it won't be worth the wait.
Of course I'm sure they realise that the only people who played it solidly were those who edited/modded it for PvP purposes..... _________________

It has the potential to sound good, but no mention of PvP or editing kinda makes me nervous. Like Vampire said, only the dedicated editors were the ones who played the most.
It also sounds like GPG isnt working with DS anymore. Dont know how that'll work out. |

Hmm they can't mention it because the game only has a bunch of concept arts and well.... the PR announcement.

No PvP???
This isn't the 1990s, PvP is absolutely expected in games these days, without it the lasting appeal is almost zero..... _________________
